How it works

Your mini carousel micro-service

When you click Generate, this page sends your slide data as JSON to your n8n webhook. The workflow calls your FastAPI server which renders a PDF using the Erasmus Labs layout and streams it back.

Webhook expects { slides: [{ number, title, body }] }.
FastAPI returns a binary PDF stream application/pdf.
This page triggers a browser download when the PDF is received.

Tips for high-performing slides

Slide 1 – hook and promise. Make it impossible to scroll past.
Middle slides – 1 idea per slide, simple language, short sentences.
Last slide – clear call to action (comment, save, follow, or link).

Design options

Optional overrides for the carousel template. If you leave these empty, the API will use the default background, logo, and font color.

Background image (square 1080×1080 recommended) When set, this image will be sent to the backend and used as the new background in the same position and size as the default.

Logo image (PNG with transparency recommended) The logo is used by the API in the same logo slot as the default file.

Font color (applies to main text) If you do not change this, the default Erasmus Labs font color is used.

Watermark PDF (protect download) Enable watermark on download If enabled, the downloaded PDF will include a tiled Erasmus Labs watermark on every slide.

Headline font Choose the font family for the headline text.

Subline font Choose the font family for the subline text.

Headline size (px) The recommended value is approximately 80 px.

Subline size (px) The recommended value is approximately 36 px.

Text shadow blur (px) Soft blur helps with readability. Recommended 20–30 px.

Text shadow opacity (%) Opacity controls how dark the shadow appears. Recommended 40–50%.

Logo scale (%) Reduce the logo by 20–30%. Default is 80% of its original size.

Left & right margin (px) Recommended left/right margin is 80 px.

Top margin (px) Recommended top margin for headline area is 120 px.

Bottom margin (px) Recommended bottom margin is 150 px.

Background darken (%) Reduce brightness by 5–10% for better contrast. Enter a value between 0 and 50.
